Yeah... so.... this is my first ever real attempt at a background pic. I started this back in...what... December? January? I really don't remember at all....whenever I saw Avatar for the first time. I know it's not that great but I just wanted to try out working on backgrounds, especially trees and plants.
I really loved the whole bioluminescence thing in Avatar and wanted to add that to this pic... I know I only have lights and glowing things on the tree in front but that's supposed to be the point. The atokirina is supposed to be making the tree come to life in a way and I wanted to show that.
Enjoy! I hope to one day make actual respectable pieces of art so hopefully practicing like this will make me better and better =]
Now to work on poses and hands...lol

So I just noticed that I forgot to get rid of "2009" from my signature...whoops!! Fixed it!!

I love seeing you do more backgrounds and landscapes! I think you really succeeded in capturing that lovely bioluminescent atmosphere of Avatar, but also keeping a distinctly "brigette-esque" style to it. I'd love to see more landscape pieces from you, they're really beautiful!
